General Research Interest: Genetic susceptibility
to psychiatric disorders, particularly suicide, depression,
violence, anxiety and other mental illnesses.
Student Participation: Assist in lab work - check
and run genotypes.
Background Needed: Basic lab skills and good communication
skills.

Research Interests: Bipolar disorder; neuro-imaging of
mood and other psychiatric disorders.
Student Participation: IRB #12258; longitudinal Functional
magnetic resonance of the brain in bipolar disorder. Help
with fMRI scanning, data analysis and subject evaluation.
Also, we are starting a large sucicde intervention study which
will have a functional neuroimaging component.
Background
Needed: None required, I will train. But science/medical
would be helpful.

Biology, genetics, math, statistics.
