Medical Ethics; Reproductive issues including population growth;
teen pregnancy, male contraception; medical ethics- especially
euthanasia, suicide, physician-assisted suicide, end-of-life
issues, ethical issues in organized religion. Ethical issues
in infectious disease; ethical issues in drug use; medicine
in non-western cultures.
Student Participation: Library and database research;
identifying sources; abstracting documents & articles, scanning
of literature, compilation and preparation of manuscripts.
Background Needed: Library usage; familiarity with
basic reference style, inquisitive mind.

familiarity with the law library & the Eccles Health Science
Library or willingness to explore! Upper division philosophy
