General Research Interest: Spine biomechanics, bioabsorbable
polymers & artificial joint prosthesis. Evaluation of orthopedic
device and instrumentation strengths and shortcomings.
Student Participation: Participate in lab, assist
in preparation and scientific evaluation of devices and techniques;
data analysis, statistical analysis, and manuscript preparation.
Background Needed: No specific background is required,
only a strong interest in being involved. Experience with
computers and testing practices are beneficial but not necessary.
Outside Majors: Engineering, Materials Science &
Engineering, Medicine, Biology, Bioengineering.
