General Research interests: Translational research in nephrology; adult stem cells are used to treat acute kidney failure, kidney transplant-associated early graft dysfunction, chronic kidney disease, multi-organ failure.

Student participation: After the student learns cell and molecular biology-related laboratory techniques, she/he will fully participate in the conduct of the above studies.

Background needed: At least working towards a minor, preferrably a major in biology, microbiology, Pre-Med, pharmacology, pharmacy, molecular biology, cell biology, genetics.

Outside Majors: Biology, microbiology, Pharmacology, Pharmacy, Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Genetics.
