General Research Interest: Bioethics; health law; public health, disability, environmental ethics.

Student Participation: Research projects. Researching the current literature on issues of health policy & professional ethics, health care rationing & informed consent in advanced industrialized economies including our own.

Background Needed: I prefer to work with students who have taken at least two courses in philosophy, including one course in ethics. I also am especially interested in working with students who are seriously considering law school.

Outside Majors: Philosophy, Political Science, Environmental studies.
