General Research Interest: Bringing greater intelligence
to bear on the relationships between urban land use and transportation
to better manage urban environmental quality.
Student Participation: Assistance is needed to gather
information from state and local agencies to begin the construction
of several indicators of urban environmental quality.
Background Needed: Some appreciation of state and
local government and some elementary statistics.
Outside Majors: Political Science, Civil Engineering,
Environment & Behavior, Economics, Sociology.

urban planning.

Student Participation: Processing samples, data entry
and manipulation, limnological measurements, fieldwork, microscope
work.

any lab experience is an asset.
