in infants and young children; parent-child relationships
and interaction; child temperament & parent personality; intervention
with at-risk families.
Student Participation: Data collection involves interacting
with young children and their parents; videotape coding of
children & their parents; data entry.
Background Needed: No experience needed but having
taken a research methods course in the social sciences would
be helpful. Spanish speaking a bonus for literacy project.
Outside Majors: Psychology, Sociology, Anthropology,
Social Work.
