environmental, international, and civic. Also, media effects, media and
culture/democracy.
Student Participation: Coding content analysis materials, library
archival research (literature reviews), pretesting content analysis research
designs.
Background Needed: Some specialized research skills would help,
but aren't necessary. Must be hard working, self-motivated, and willing
to learn.
Outside Majors: Prefer communication students.
Student generated projects may be considered.
