General Research Interest: Engineering viral vectors for gene
therapy. Immunology of viral and bacterial infection. Imaging transport
in heterogeneous systems.
Student Participation: Assist with fermentation, cell culture,
and recovery. Analyze results by spectroscopy and microscopy. Develop
qualification and operational protocols for lab equipment.
Background Needed: Strong background in science and engineering.
Outside Majors: Biomedical Engineering, Chemistry, Genetics,
Molecular Biology, Radiology
Student generated projects may be considered.
