This
journal began publication during spring 2001. The Journal's primary
mission is to make more visible the rich and diverse student
contributions to research and creative work at the University of Utah.
All undergraduates involved in research at the University of Utah are
strongly encouraged to submit abstracts of their work for publication
in this journal.Journal submissions are accepted year-round
for spring publication. The deadline for the spring
2008 publication is Monday, March 3, 2008.
For submission to the
journal you'll need: an electronic copy of the abstract, properly formatted and saved as a word document, a digital
photo in j-peg. format of applicant and one of the
faculty sponsor in the highest resolution e-mailed as attachments to
Jill Baeder at baeder-j@ugs.utah.edu.
Please type Journal in the subject line of your e-mailed submission. You
are encouraged to include any additional photos of your project, lab or
others for our research in action section. The filled out/signed permission
form (PDF) must be delivered to 132 Sill Center.
Remember, abstracts for the journal are to be self reviewed with
faculty supervision. Abstracts must be ready for publication with all
spelling and grammatical errors corrected.
Abstracts must be formatted the following way:
font: palatino lynotype, 11 pt.
saved in Word, no pdf's please
abstract TITLE (all caps)
student name(s) (faculty name(s)) in parentheses

To better meet student needs and those of the
university community, this journal is also published in electronic
form. Students and faculty have the option to be published in the
hard copy version and withdraw from the on-line journal as
circumstances prescribe.
